Volunteers for International Student Affairs (VISA) consists of 21 sub-organizations that each represents a different ethnicity and culture present at the University of Florida (UF).
The international sub-organizations are the heart and soul of VISA. Comprised of upwards of 4,500 undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students from across all disciplines, they represent cultures from all around the world. The University of Florida is incredibly lucky to have such a diverse and vibrant international presence on campus, and we encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about other cultures. Each organization holds events throughout the year and partakes in VISA’s International Month, hosted in March and April, as well as our International Week in November. So whether you are a part of one of the many cultures represented, or you are simply curious, be sure to check us out!
VISA’s mission is to promote cultural diversity and awareness to the UF student body through hosting and helping the sub-organizations host various cultural events throughout the year .
